The Blocker also works as a calm focus tool in Safari. Block any site you choose (10 free, unlimited with Pro), whole categories like social media or news (Pro), and set schedules for work, study or sleep, even overnight (Pro). Tap Share on any page in Safari to block it on the spot.
Written by the developer of The Blocker, from the app’s own code (version 2.9), 21 October 2026.
How people use it for focus
- Your own list: add the sites that steal your time; trusted sites go on the Always Allow list.
- Categories (Pro): Social Media, Gambling and News, each a short list of the big sites.
- Focus schedules (Pro): pick days and hours; overnight works. Schedules apply when the app updates Safari’s rules (when you open the app, edit, or in a background refresh), so they aren’t to-the-minute.
- Share to block: on any page in Safari, tap Share › The Blocker; the site joins your list.
- Ads and trackers (Pro): popular blocklists for a quieter web.

Apps too, not just websites
For apps, Pro’s Strong protection can keep apps you pick closed while it’s on. Focus schedules and categories work in Safari only.
